Christmas in our house has come to an end!! It was a great day....very long but great.

Declan, Liam & Teah came waltzing into our room at 6am this morning ready to open presents. Unfortunately, neither Chris or I were ready for the day to begin. Nevertheless, we got out of bed and began the chaos of opening presents. We had them start with their stockings which included a new shirt for their Build-A-Bear animals, cars for the boys, nail polish & lip gloss for Teah and candy....you have to have candy!! Then it was on to the presents. Declan started it all off by unwrapping a gift from his Uncle Tim....a jr. size football and kicking tee...just what he wanted. Liam went next, also with a present from Uncle Tim. His gift was a Shake & Go Speedway. Teah finished up the first round with a Dress & Dance Dora from Uncle Tim. Just a warning....this item DOES NOT have a volume control!!! It is very cute and Dora talks in both English & Spanish.

The present unwrapping continued with a few gifts from us....computer games, a movie, Aqua Doodle Pad for Teah, cars/trains from their Great Grandparents in Wisconsin and a few other items. It was then time to open presents from Grandma & Grandpa O'Neal. Declan opened his and was overjoyed to see Madden 2006. Although he was a bit confused because it was for GameCube and we don't (didn't!!) own one. Liam went next and could hardly believe his eyes when he opened his present which was a Fantastic Four Laser Tag set. This is a wonderful gift because it forces them to play together! :) Teah opened her's to find a huge set of Disney Princess Dress-Up clothes. She is finally getting to the age when dress up and baby dolls (which is one gift Chris & I gave her) are a big thing.

The finale was the big gift from Chris & I. We had not really planned on this but decided that it was a good gift for them. So, we purchased a Nintendo GameCube that came with Mario Party 7 (which both boys wanted for their GameBoy) and an extra controller (perfect when you have two boys to please!). We had them open it together and they were very excited. Declan about jumped out of his skin!! They took turns playing it most of the day. We are going to set up a time limit as to how long they can sit in front of it.

The boys also each got a game for the system -
Declan got Hockey Blitz 2002 and Liam got Tony Hawk Skateboarding.

Teah's big gift was a baby doll set that included a baby doll, stroller, three outfits and other accessories. She is a very good "mommy".

We pray that you had a very Merry Christmas and the you will have a Happy New Year. May God bless you and your family richly this coming year.

Amy
