Here is more about our trip to Wisconsin.....

On the way out of town on Friday morning, we decided to stop at the Harley-Davidson Factory to pick up a shirt for our friend Matthew. We figured since he was in the Harley buying mood, it would be a good addition to his collection. The factory offers tours but you have to be 12 years of age or older so we weren't able to go on the tour with the kids. They did let us what the "introduction film" that they show before each tour and they have various bikes, motors and information boards posted to look at. We visited the gift shop and bought the kids each a shirt and a shirt for Matthew and then took the following pictures.....

After we left Harley-Davidson, we headed for Iowa. Yes, you read that right....IOWA. We figured since we were just 3 hours from Cedar Rapids, it would be a good time to pop in and see Chris' family. The kids had no idea that we were going there (except when Declan over heard Chris telling Matthew on the phone - but he kept it a secret), so when they saw the Iowa sign they were excited. And I must say, I think Grandma Mary was just as excited when she saw us drive up!! We had dinner and a great time of visiting with everyone. We had breakfast the next morning with our friends Eric & Dawn and their little boy Parker and then hit the rainy road for home. All in all, it was a great trip and it was nice to see so much family in such a short amount of time. We probably won't do it again but it was nice.
