So I looked back to see if I had posted anything about this week and discovered that I had not. So the easiest way to do this is to break it down by day.....so here we go.....

MONDAY - This was a crazy day, lots of running around. Dropped the boys off at school and then headed up to Franklin to pick up Declan's x-rays before going to the pediatricians office. Had the appointment with the doctor (see post from May 23 below) and then headed back to Spring Hill. We stopped at the house quickly to pick up the camera which I had forgotten and then went to a walk through of a preschool for Teah. Sherri won't be keeping her in the fall so we are in search of a school for her. They showed us two different rooms and she seemed a bit over whelmed. I am going to check a couple other places and pray about where she is suppose to be before a decision is made. We have been in this boat previously and God has always worked something out so I know he has the perfect place already planned for her. After the walk through we headed over to the school for lunch with the boys....are last Monday of lunch at school. We had lunch and then it was time to help get Declan's class ready for their Author's Showcase and class party. The Author's Showcase gave the parents the opportunity to come check out all of the writing the kids have done throughout the year and to get autographs from these amazing writers. It was fun to watch the excitement on their face when they were asked for an autograph. After the showcase we had the year end party. We opted for ice cream sundaes which the kids loved. We also had cookies & cake, so it was sugar overload. We left the school and headed back to Franklin for Teah's ear check up, which went great....see post on May 23 for details. After the appointment it was off for x-rays for Declan and then back home to finally take a break. WOW, what a day!!!

TUESDAY - Water Day for Liam and Field Day for Declan. I was pretty upset that I had to work and miss both of these events but what are you going to do. Teah spent the day (her last official day) with Aunt Sherri getting everything ready for Sherri's trip to Iowa. The boys had a great time at their events. Declan had a chiropractor appointment after school so Sherri just kept Teah & Liam so I didn't have to worry about them while we talked with the doctor about a treatment plan. In the doctor's report he stated that Declan has a pelvis lean...which just means if he is standing straight up his pelvis tends to lean to the left which has caused a curve in his spine. The chiropractor suggested 12 visits which will treat this and get the pelvic back to center. Declan loves going and said he feels great after the appointments. I need to take some pictures now so I have some before and after pictures of his treatment. I will have to do that tomorrow. Tuesday night was a quiet night at home watching American Idol....SOUL PATROL!!!

WEDNESDAY - Another busy day. Declan's class was having clean the classroom day. Apparently this is a big hit and a long awaited day. Declan's teacher said that they love cleaning the room and ask over and over for more to do. The room looked great when I got there, what hard workers. When I got to the school Declan was very excited. His class was getting ready to head outside for a kick ball game against one of the other 2nd grade classes. They had played them one other time and won so they were hoping to win again. Teah and I headed outside to watch the game and take some pictures. They started off winning but the other class ended up winning in the end. Declan was okay with that because they had won the first game. We weren't able to watch the whole game because Liam was having his year end program and we needed to head inside for that. The program was very cute. For the program Liam's teachers assigned a nursery ryhme to each child. Some kids came out as a group and others had a "solo". Liam had a solo. He performed "Jack Be Nimble". He was so cute and did a great job. When he came out he stood to the side for a minute and "prepared" his voice with some rough coughes. It was pretty funny. After the nursery rhymes, they handed out a special project they had made for us. It is a beautiful butterfly made with his hand print as the wings. So precious. When we were all done, we headed back to Declan's class so that we could have lunch with him before heading back home. Teah was not feeling so good, so we didn't stay for the entire time. After school we head to Franklin for Declan's chiropractor appointment, dinner and then Declan's last hockey game. The appointment went well - they are very quick - about 10-15 minutes. After the appointment we head to McDonald's (the kids choice) for dinner and a few minutes of play time. After dinner we headed over to the ice rink and Declan jumped on the ice for his last game. He played three amazing games and ended up scoring three goals. I guess going to the chiropractor before the game relaxes him and gets him ready to play. He skated all over the ice and was very aggressive. They had a pizza party after the games and handed out trophies to the top two teams. Declan was a bit bummed until he realized that they had one for him because he had started out in the lower level and then moved up. We missed the finale of American Idol but I did hear on the way home that Taylor Hicks had won. YEAH for him....SOUL PATROL!!!

THURSDAY - Declan's last day of school - actually last two hours of school. I really don't see what the point of going is but he went in, picked up his report card - which was fantastic and attended a few minutes of the annual sock hop. The sock hop is something they do each year for the students. A way to end the year with a blast. They have a kids DJ company come in and play music for the kids and let them dance around the gym for an hour. Declan wasn't to into it this year so we only stayed for a few minutes before heading home. We had planned to have lunch with Chris but he got tied up at an appointment so we opted for a movie. The kids picked Over The Hedge. It was okay but not as amazing as they have said. The kids loved it so I guess that is all that matters. After the movie we headed over to Wal-Mart for grocery shopping, however, Liam ended up getting sick on the way into the store and then again shortly after entering the store so we left. Only to get to the car in time for Declan to get sick as well. Needless to say, it was a night of "sickness" and lots of clean up. Not so fun. Liam was having a hard time keeping 7Up down but eventually got it under control. They slept on and off all night. My poor babies!!

FRIDAY - The end of the week is finally here!! The boys woke up feeling great this morning. We aren't sure what was going on. Maybe a 24 hour bug or maybe bad popcorn. Who knows. Declan woke up this morning and said "I feel like a new man". So that was good. Chelsea spent the night so she could watch the kids for me today. I only had to work part of the day so it was an easy day for her. They had a fun day hanging with Chelsea. We took her home after I got home and then stopped at Target to pick up a fan. Our air conditioner is out again for the upstairs (bonus room & upstairs bedrooms) and they can't take a look at it until next week so we are trying to do everything possible to cool it off up there. The kids have had to sleep downstairs on the hide-a-bed because it is just too hot upstairs. When we got home we played in the sprinkler for a little bit before it started to rain. We had dinner and then watched some TV for the rest of the night.

Well, there you have our week in a nut shell. WOW, did you get all that!!! We should have a pretty relaxing weekend. My mom flies in on Sunday afternoon and we have been invited to a Memorial Day party Sunday night. Chris' mom is coming back with Sherri so the kids will get lots of grandma attention.

I will post more pictures later as well as how our weekend goes.

Have a great night, a fantastic weekend and a fun holiday.
