WOW, WHAT A BUSY DAY!! One day off during the week just doesn't seem to be enough anymore.

After Teah & I dropped the boys off at school, we had to swing by the house of one of the other kids in Declan's class to drop something off, then went to the bank before heading to Franklin for Teah's doctors appointment. Her doctor said that she is sounding a lot better although she still hears some diminished breathing on the right side. We are suppose to do breathing treatments as needed and let her know if she still isn't better by Friday. Her cheeks are still getting pretty rosy when she is playing and that is a little concerning. This whole thing has not slowed her down at all which is wonderful. I would hate for her to be laid up in bed. After listening to her lungs, she looked in her ear and said that it definitely looked like she perforated the eardrum. Just what I wanted to hear....NOT!!! She called the ENT, who just so happens to be the doctor that did my surgery and schedule an appointment for us. He was in surgery in the morning so we had to wait until 1:30 to see him. He confirmed that she did indeed perforated her eardrum along with scratching her ear canal. He said that there is a 90% chance of it healing on its own and that he would see her again in 3 weeks to check the progress. She has special fitted ear plugs that she has to wear when she takes a bath or plans to get her head/ears wet. He doesn't want anything entering her ear until it is completely healed. Thankfully it is something that is an easy fix and she should have no lasting effects from this incident.

After we saw the pediatrician in the morning we headed over to doggie jail a/k/a Animal Control. For those that don't know this, Jack & Buddy (our dogs) got out a week & a half ago and ended up getting picked up my animal control. Without us knowing they had been picked up, Chris & I searched for them all week and finally called A.C. last Monday morning. I was told that they believed they had our dogs and I would need to come by to id them. They also said that if indeed they were our dogs, they needed me to be aware of the fact that Jack had bit someone (which we find highly unlikely but since we weren't there we can't prove differently). So with that being the case, we were able to bring Buddy home that day (a week ago today) but Jack had to stay isolated for 10 days. Well his 10 days was up today so Teah & I went to pick him up. He was so excited to see us. It was like he know today was his day and that he was heading home. We did have to make a stop on the way home for him to get a shot. He did great and never made a sound. Both dogs have been different dogs since getting them home. Although Buddy did run off on Saturday but we found him right away. I would love for us to build a fence but it all depends on what happens with our move. I told Chris that if our move gets pushed back, we really need to build the fence. We'll see what happens.

When we finished with the ENT in the afternoon, we ran up to Brentwood to see Chris and to pick up Chris' brother Phil who needed a ride home from work. We got back to our neck of the woods just in time to get to the school to pick Declan up. Since Teah's appointment was at the exact time Liam gets out of school, Sherri picked him up for me and he hung out with her for the afternoon. Apparently he had a great time and wasn't home until almost 6pm. It felt very weird to not have him with us all afternoon. And Declan missed him a lot, which was great to hear.

Tonight we had the John & Amanda crew over for dinner as well as Phil & Steph. It was a nice night and the kids had a great time playing with their cousins. Something they have done in three weeks because of Teah being sick.

Well, that is all for tonight. Have a great evening and a terrific day tomorrow.

I'm so glad that Teah's ear should heal on its own. We prayed for her last night at bedtime. Rebekah & Lydia both explained the whole situation to God and asked that Teay feel better.
