IT'S SNOWING IN NASHVILLE......

okay, it will only add up to about 1/2 an inch but it is still snowing!!!

but that isn't the most exciting news of the day. Declan's big practice with the Predators was today and he had a great time. Darcy Hordichuk and Adam Hall along with one of the guys from the coaching staff and the Youth Hockey team were at the rink to do a skills practice with the boys. It was exciting to see the joy on the boys faces when Darcy & Adam stepped on the ice. I thought Declan would be disappointed that Kimmo Timonen, his favorite player, wasn't there but he came off the ice letting me know how much fun he had and excited that Darcy had congratulated him on making a great goal.

The best part of the night for me was to watch my Declan get interviewed by Terry Crisp - the voice of the Predators. Terry has worked with the Predators for 8 seasons and before that was a player (scoring 201 points) for 11 seasons and a coach. He is also one of only 14 people to win a Stanley Cup as a player and coach. So to not only meet Terry but to be interviewed by him is a honor and something I think Declan will remember forever. I am going to try and get a copy of the interview for Declan as a keepsake and maybe even a copy for myself!! Do you think I am a proud mom?!?!?
