We are back from Wisconsin. We left at 5am Tuesday morning and arrived at my grandparents house around 4pm. It was an uneventful drive up and the kids did great. My mom and grandparents were very happy to see all of us and the kids were very happy to see SNOW!!! In fact as we approached the town my family lives in, it began to flurry. I will post all the details and LOTS of pictures later today.

The service for my aunt was on Wednesday afternoon and it went well. I forgot how different an Episcopal church service is from the services at our church. The church as well as an overflow room were completely full. To say that my aunt was deeply loved, would be an under-statement.

The most important part of the trip is that prayers were answered. My family put differences aside and came together in a very present time of need. Hearts were softened and changed for the good and lives were knit back together. The greatest news of all is that my mom prayed with my grandfather to accept Christ in his heart. WHAT A BLESSING!!! At 90 years old he could have chosen to be very angry with God for taking his daughter but instead he made the choice to accept Him and be assured that he would see her again in eternity.

Thank you all for your prayers and your concern for my family. You don't know what it all means to me. My family still has a lot of healing but I know that we are all going to come through on the other side better. We all know that my aunt did not die in vain but that there was a reason and a purpose behind it. Please continue to pray for my grandparents and entire family as we walk the road of healing.
