What a great weekend. It was nice to not have to do too much and have a weekend at home as a family. Saturday morning Declan had hockey practice at 8:55 am but other than that, we pretty much stayed home and did stuff around the house.
Chris and the boys decided that their bikes needed a new look so Chris picked up some spray paint and got to work on taking the bikes apart and giving them a fresh coat of paint. Declan's has a base coat of blue and a clear coat that makes the color change in the light. It looks great. Liam opted for a patriotic theme so his is red, white & blue. What a great American!! We are going to look for some star decals to put on it to add to the theme. Once they have dried and are back together, I will take some pictures so everyone can see their new master pieces.
Today we had church and then Declan's hockey game. Church was fantastic!! Pastor Dale's message was right on as always. It is wonderful to be at a church where the pastor is totally lead by the Spirit. We are truly blessed to be under Pastor Dale's teachings. Declan's hockey game was a nail-bitter. They played the red team which has not been beaten this season. The score went back & forth and came down to the last minute. We ended up losing 6 - 5 but it was a great game and it was great to watch the boys play with all their heart. The last time we played the red team we lost by a lot more than 1 point so in our books this was a step in the right direction. It is really too bad that the season is two weeks from over!!
Today at church Abbie & Bobby let us know that they would love for Teah to be the flower girl at their wedding. Of course we said that it would be an honor and it was nice that they thought of her. I told Teah about it and she is very excited. She said she can't wait to wear a pretty dress and take the flowers to Abbie. The only problem is that she keeps asking when are we leaving for the wedding and the wedding isn't until June. We are going to start looking for transportation options now so that we can get a good rate. The drive up is about 20 hours....so it would take us a couple days. We are praying there will be some great airfare deals so that we can fly instead of drive but we will have to see what happens.
To get you as excited as Teah is about her being in a pretty dress, here are a few pictures from last summer when we went shopping with Chelsea for a quinceaƱera dress. Is she beautiful?!?!

Have a great evening!!
