It was a pretty relaxing day today. We ended up getting together for a family cook out over at Bob & Sherri's with the rest of the O'Neal gang. We all brought our own meat to grill and a side to pass. As always, we ended up with way too much food. Why does that always happen?!?!?! Grandma Mary bought a water toy at the store and the kids played with it for awhile and then we hooked up a sprinkler that Aunt Teena had brought over for them. They loved running around with their cousins and having the whole afternoon to play in the water. The adults just hung out inside at chatted - we tried to be outside but it was just too hot - I know we are wimps. But hey, the kids can handle it because they had swimsuits on and were in and out of the water.

Playing with it first on the ground and then after Chris hung it from the tree so it would spray water all over them. It was suppose to "dance" around but there wasn't enough water pressure and the hose was too long.

Oh well, the kids had fun any way.

Sprinkler fun....the boys thought it was great to sit on the sprinkler. Not sure how this can be enjoyable!!!
