Another uneventful day. Two in a row...I'm getting spoiled!! It was a little eventful this morning but that only lasted for a little bit and then it was smooth sailing.

You might recall from yesterdays post (if you have read it) that my battery was dead when we came out from grocery shopping. Well, this morning when we went out to the garage to leave for the day, it was dead again. It didn't help matters that we were running late and only had about 7 minutes to get to the school before the bell rang. I sent Declan to the neighbors house while I called the school to let them know that the boys would be late. We got it started pretty easily and then we were off. Sherri let me drive her car to work so that my van could sit on the battery charger to completely charge the battery. It started without any problems this afternoon. And I am praying that it will do the same tomorrow.

Other than that, it was a pretty easy day. We got home right before it started storming tonight and had a great dinner. After dinner we chatted for a while before our Life Group Leaders came over. We have been asked to be Assistant Life Group leaders and our excited about what God has in store for us. This will push our move to Florida back a little bit but we know that God is getting us ready for bigger things and that with this leadership training and equipping that we will be better prepared to serve those we come in contact with in Orlando. God is an amazing God with great plans and his purpose is always perfect. I mentioned to the kids on the way home what was going on and that we were possibly going to be Life Group Assistants and Declan said "that is great, it means we will be closer to Jesus". What a great thought. If we could all look at the things in our life that way. How is God using you and how is bringing your life closer to Jesus'? Something to think about!!
