Okay, now on to the update.....

Life has been good. Sunday Chris rode to church on his motorcycle with Bob & Matthew. It was amazing the number of guys that came up to them when they pulled in. It seems as if everyone is just drawn to motorcycles. They enjoyed the ride together and are looking forward to doing it again. Chris' mom & dad settled on a house.....which happens to be in our subdivision. YEAH!!! They will be moving in around the middle of August. The kids are so excited. It will be nice to have grandparents right around the corner. Chris' mom is going to take care of Teah for me while I work and watch the boys a couple afternoons so I can work extra hours. We are going to get bikes for them to keep at grandma & grandpa's house for after school. The house also has a horseshoe pit in the back yard and three large trees. Lots of things to keep little boys (and probably a little girl) busy.

Today we did lots of running around. Declan had his 8 year check-up this morning and all went well. The doctor said he looks great. We then went and had lunch at the park with a friend of mine. After that we went to pick up Mark's mom (Mark spent the night with us on Sunday so he was already with us) and went shopping at Target. Chris' parents met us there and bought Declan his birthday present. A robot. Just what every 8 year old needs. He was so excited. It is pretty cool and can be programmed to do various things in addition to the things his remote control says it will do. After shopping we headed to the house for a little bit before taking Nicole & Mark home and heading over to Teena's for dinner. We hung out there for the evening and came home with three very tired children.

Tomorrow is a get up early day. Instead of the babysitter coming to us, the kids are going to spend the day at her house. She has a swimming pool in her subdivision, so they are going to go swimming and then play street hockey with some of her neighborhood friends. They are pretty excited. After work tomorrow, I head up to the airport to pick up my mom who will be with us for two weeks. Then it is back home for dinner and hopefully a walk....we'll see if that happens.
